Lapping Kit
Apply a little silicon carbide powder and oil to the lapping plate. As you lap the blade, a fine slurry forms to rub out all the high spots and create a silky, dead-flat surface. Now the blade will take a true razor edge! A must for renewing old tools, truing sharpening stones, etc. Lapping plate has a precision-ground surface, mild hardness. Kit includes 2 oz. each of 240 & 500 grit silicon carbide, and 8” x 3” x 3/8” thick plate. USA
